The challenges were met head on. People can work together for peace despite the differences. It was unity in diversity.
San Enrique is a very tiny municipality in the central part of Panay Island in the Philippines. It has a rustic charm. What's funny is that there are many Ilonggos or people from Iloilo who do not even
know where it is. One of the Thai volunteers was asked by somebody from Iloilo who was on the same flight about her destination and when she said San Enrique that guy frankly told her that she did not know where it is.
San Enrique will no longer be an unknown entity after this event. It will be a brighter town. It will be a town where people work together to have more progress - a town where people actively work to have a peaceful town.
